Are you a swimmer looking to retire soon?

Consider SaddleBrooke — A great community for swimmers!

It's hard to beat the gorgeous DesertView 6-lane, 25-yard outdoor pool where we train! Swim with a grand view of the beautiful mountains of southern Arizona in a nice low-humidity climate without yearly hurricane threats.

1. Are you a USMS swimmer looking for a retirement community where you can continue swimming and/or competing? The SaddleBrooke Swim Club is led by USMS Certified Level 4 head coach Terry “Speed” Heggy, who has over 40 years of coaching experience. Coach Terry has written articles for SWIMMER Magazine and has served USMS in positions from the national Coaches Committee to LMSC Chair. Our other USMS-certified coaches each have decades of experience in all aspects of aquatics, from beginning fitness swimming to elite competition. While our Club has an entire wall of State Championship plaques and a host of National Championship and All-American certificates distributed among members, our expert coaching staff also takes pride in teaching stroke clinics and swim lessons for people who have never swum a stroke. With many workout options to choose from, you can challenge yourself to achieve your best in competition, or simply enjoy swimming with friends under sunny Arizona skies throughout the year.

2. Interested in swimming, but need some further instruction? The Swim Club welcomes all levels of swimmers (including those who have never swum before) and can help you improve to reach your swimming goals. Our instructors are experts at helping you progress at your own pace without pressure or stress, learning to master your technique while having fun at the same time.

3. Are you looking for a retirement community that will keep you fit, stimulated, and engaged for a long and healthy life? In addition to the Swim Club, SaddleBrooke offers a welcoming community where people stay busy pursuing old passions and developing new ones. With clubs supporting cycling, hiking, pickleball, tennis, music/theater, photography, arts & crafts, astronomy, social games, and a plethora of adult education classes, no one in SaddleBrooke is everbored. Not only does the climate and scenery make each day a delight, but the social spirit of SaddleBrooke guarantees that you’ll make new friends, learn new things, and enjoy retirement in ways you hadn’t imagined.

If any of the above interests you, please contact SaddleBrookeswimclub@gmail.com to inquire further and/or arrange a visit. Our head coach is happy to discuss the many options available to you through the SaddleBrooke Swim Club.
