September is Club Member Renewal Month
We hope to see you all back in the water together! Coaches Terry, Lyn, Jay, and Steve will be coaching in September. Mark will be joining us in October. Terry has developed a schedule that will provide alternating coaches for each of the time slots, in order that he can personally coach each of the time slots at least once a week.
To begin, There will be a 7, 8:30 and 9:50 coached practice Mondays-Saturdays except the following three times:
Mondays, 9:50 practice - no coach or organized workout
Wednesday, 7 am practice - no coach or organized workout
Fridays 8:30 practice - no coach or organized workout.
As always, try to arrive at the pool a few minutes before the designated start time so that you are ready to begin with the group.
Important Message from Coach Terry:
"For those attending the coached workouts, here’s what you can expect as we start our fall season: September/October we’ll be working on general fitness (endurance and pacing) mixed with focus on maintaining good habits of proper stroke technique. As we get deeper into the season, there will be increasing focus on speed and strategy, along with meet strategies for top performance for those who wish to compete. For those who do not wish to compete, the workouts will continue to provide great fitness and stroke improvement. Regardless of individual goals and focus, the pool is a fantastic place to enjoy yourself with a great group of friends!
